Dates and tahini. Tahini and dates. Whichever way it comes out, know that this unexpected pairing is worth exploring.
Tahini has the consistency of any runny nut butter but the taste slides the scale from sweet to somewhat bitter depending on the maker. Dates are of course, all natural with a caramel-like aftertaste. I made everything below using these two as base ingredients. Enjoy!
