[i carry your heart with me(i carry it in]

i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
                                                      i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

by e.e. cummings

[This poem came to me as I read an IG message from a stranger who said that my video on spiritual warfare was just what s/he needed after a deeply traumatic year. These are not easy times to live in and although a poem feels like a silly thing to offer for the pain i sense many are enduring… it’s what i felt to post. For the ones who have been waiting for breakthrough and for their joy to return, healing for their brokenness and for a heart that is willing to open and receive again, you are in my prayers and He is carrying your heart.]

Ps: As I finished editing this, the phrase “new beginning” dropped into my spirit.

You, dear reader, are getting a new beginning. Believe it! Be encouraged and don’t look back.
